The Procedures in the HTS Program:

Saccades/Fixations
These are small eye movements from word to word or from one line to the next. Eye movement needs to be effortless and accurate.

Saccades/Fixations helps students that:
Losing Place
Poor Comprehension
Slow reading speed
Reversal of letters
Confuses similar words
Leaves words out

Pursuits/Tracking
These are smooth eye movements. Guiding a pencil effortlessly and accurately with your eyes is an example.

Pursuits/Tracking helps students that:
Poor penmanship
Sloppy or unorganized work
Writing skills are poor
Math mistakes are column errors

Vergence
The eyes move outward for distance vision and inward for near work, such as reading. It is critical that these skills are automatic, effortless, and accurate.

Vergence helps students with:
Headaches
Poor reading comprehension
